No. 17 Oklahoma State committed back-to-back errors in the fifth inning with two outs which led to No. 19 Texas breaking open the door in an eight-run frame in the night cap of the Shriners Children's College Showdown at Globe Life Field in Arlington on Feb. 16.
The Longhorns, who lost on Opening Day in extra innings to Louisville, handed OSU a 14-8 loss to end the weekend.
The Cowboys led 4-2 at one point following Ian Daughtery's 2-run home run in the third, at the time the third home run hit in the game, but the lead didn't last.
Texas scored a run each in the next two innings, including during a long, arduous fourth that ended when Noah Wich struck out Tommy Farmer with the bases loaded that seemed to pump life into the Cowboys.

The Cowboys would score four more runs, including three in the eighth inning, but could never fully recover.
