The biggest question entering the weekend will be whether the Cleveland Guardians pass on Charlie Condon to take either Travis Bazzana of Oregon State or J.J. Wetherholt of West Virginia at No. 1.

They'll have to make decision shortly after 7 p.m. EST on July 14 in Fort Worth at the 2024 MLB Draft.

Bazzana was a Golden Spikes Award finalist and had the best season by any infielder, middle or otherwise, in college baseball. Meanwhile, Wetherholt was the top prospect in college baseball to start the season before missing most of the college season with a hamstring injury.

Outside of the two middle infielders, the class has a talented group of first baseman who could go and load prep class at shortstop, which is typical for the MLB draft when it comes to prep prospects.
