Lancaster Stormers vs. Long Island Ducks Atlantic Series: How To Watch
The Lancaster Stormers and the Long Island Ducks will clash in a four-game at Fairfield Properties Ballpark, streaming live on FloBaseball.
The Lancaster Stormers’ three-peat bid is in some trouble, whereas the Long Island Ducks’ push to get back to the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball mountaintop is in full swing.
And after Long Island got the better of Lancaster in their first meetings of the season last month, the ALPB’s two-time defending champion will be pushing to get its season back on track — and get some sweet redemption in the process.
The Stormers and the Ducks will clash in a four-game series held Friday-Sunday at the Ducks’ home stadium, Fairfield Properties Ballpark, in Central Islip, New York, as both teams continue to jostle for position in the ALPB North Division.
All four games (at 6:35 p.m. Friday, 1:35 and 6:35 p.m. Saturday, and 1:35 p.m. Sunday, all Eastern Time) will be streamed live and exclusively on FloBaseball as part of its coverage of independent baseball all summer long.

How to Watch Atlantic League Baseball in 2024
Watch Atlantic League baseball on FloBaseball and the FloSports app.
FloBaseball will be streaming the Atlantic League and more independent league baseball all season long.
Players to Watch
Cristian Santana, IF, Lancaster Stormers
Not to be confused with the 20-year-old Detroit Tigers infield prospect of the same name who signed a club-record signing bonus for an international player in 2021, the Stormers’ Santana made his independent baseball debut last season in the ALPB with Staten Island, batting .255 across 30 games.
But so far, Santana’s offseason move to Lancaster has proven to be a smart decision for the 27-year-old from the Dominican Republic.

Having reached as high as Triple-A in the minor leagues with both the Los Angeles Dodgers and Cincinnati Reds’ organizations, Santana is currently the ALPB leader in batting average with a .391 clip across 23 games (as of this writing), seeing what was an 11-game hitting streak snapped during Lancaster’s 7-4 loss to Gastonia on Wednesday.
Nonetheless, Santana is a spark at the plate for the sputtering back-to-back reigning ALPB champs — who have lost four in a row and eight of their past 10 going into this weekend’s series with the Ducks — when they need it most, and he’ll be leaned on if Lancaster wants to make a midseason surge and get back to the postseason.
Frank Schwindel, 1B, Long Island Ducks
Just three years ago, Schwindel was considered one of the top first-year players in all of Major League Baseball as he finished sixth in Rookie of the Year voting in 2021 after a season in which he mustered a .326 average, 14 home runs and 41 RBIs across just 64 games with the Oakland Athletics and Chicago Cubs — the latter club of which saw him briefly thrive at first after the Cubs traded All-Star Anthony Rizzo to the New York Yankees that summer.
Schwindel wasn’t able to recapture that form over the past two seasons with the Cubs and in Japan, but he has in a productive first year (so far) with the Ducks.
Not far behind Santana among the league leaders in batting average with a .364 mark (as of Thursday night) to be fourth in the ALPB, his eight home runs and 24 RBIs rank among the league’s best in each category as the 31-year-old New Jersey native is also slugging .659 on the season.
He had a home run and four RBIs in Long Island’s 9-7 victory over Staten Island on Wednesday to beef up all of those totals, while four of his past five ALPB outings have been multi-hit games to boot, too.
RECAP: Frank Schwindel's three-run home run in the 11th proves to be the difference as the Ducks take a Wednesday matinee from @FerryHawks in extras!
