UNC Baseball Takes On Upstart Campbell Baseball
UNC baseball will trek to Buies Creek for a Top 25 matchup against the ascendent Campbell Camels baseball program.
UNC baseball, currently ranked No. 14 in the Coaches Poll, will travel to Buies Creek to take on Campbell baseball in a Top 25 clash. The North Carolina Tar Heels will pose the greatest threat yet to the No. 24 Camels' encouraging start to the 2024 season. However, the opposite might also be true.

UNC is coming off the back of a five-game winning streak at home, in which they bulldozed through VCU, Longwood and Princeton, averaging over 11 runs per game. That's above North Carolina's average of 10 runs per game so far this season, a stat in which they rank 10th in the country.
UNC's last loss came in the last game of a three-game set against No. 16 East Carolina on Feb. 25. The Tar Heels lost two-of-three against the Pirates.
Campbell played East Carolina earlier this season, winning that one-off matchup 7-6.
Despite losing their first game of the season to UC Santa Barbara, Campbell has mostly rolled through opponents, including UCSB, East Carolina and Ohio. Only recently have the Camels faltered, having lost to Coastal Carolina in another Top 25 matchup, but the real trip up came in a loss to Georgia Southern on March 1. The Camels surged back, winning the last two games of the series, 10-7 and 10-5
