Arkansas Baseball Defeat Michigan; Razorbacks 2-1 At Kubota Series | Recap
Arkansas baseball depart Globe Life Field having gone 2-1, after defeating Michigan baseball in their last game at Kubota College Baseball Series Weekend 2.
Arkansas baseball, a day after being upset by Oklahoma State, soundly defeated the Michigan Wolverines, 4-3, on the last day of Kubota College Series Weekend 2 at Globe Life Field. Ben McLaughlin got things started for the Razorbacks in the first inning, hitting a double to left field to bring in Will Edmundson.
Edmundson would then be HBP in the fourth inning with the bases loaded, bringing home Wehiwa Aloy.

Arkansas pitcher Mason Molina pitched a no-hitter through five innings with 10 strikeouts. Molina, a junior, transferred from Texas Tech in the offseason, where he was All-Big 12 second team last season. Will McEntire took Molina's no-hitter into the seventh inning before giving up a hit to Michigan's Cole Caruso.
Michigan baseball continued a miserable start to the season, losing all three games they played at Kubota College Baseball Series Weekend 2. The Wolverines scored only seven runs across the three games. M-U went hitless against the Razorbacks until the seventh inning, and were scoreless until Bradley Navarro hit an RBI single in the eight inning.
The Razorbacks will likely be fairly satisfied with their weekend of games at Globe Life. After defeating top-10-ranked Oregon State on Friday night, on the back of a masterclass from Hagen Smith, the team dropped one to Oklahoma State on Saturday after 14 innings of a grueling, low-scoring affair.
Despite loading the bases and giving up two runs in the ninth inning, Arkansas dominated Michigan through much of the game.
All three games offered the kind of situations that steel teams early in the season, and will likely pay dividends for the Razorbacks in the long college baseball campaign.
