How To Watch Michigan Baseball At The Kubota College Baseball Series
Michigan Baseball faces Oklahoma State, No.7 Oregon State and No. 2 Arkansas Baseball at the Kubota College Baseball Series.
Of all the teams headed to Arlington, Texas in February and March for the College Baseball Showdown, no team faces a greater challenge, and has more opportunity to prove they belong in the college baseball conversation than the Michigan Baseball team.
If going off preseason polls, the Wolverines are playing three top-25 ranked teams this weekend. No team plays more than two at Globe Life Field.
If going off the most current various rankings from Feb. 19, Michigan will play the No. 2 team (Arkansas Baseball) and the No. 3 team (Oregon State Baseball). And then have to deal with an Oklahoma State Baseball team with a top 30 prospect in Carson Benge.

It's hard. But at this point in the season, it's a NCAA Tournament resume building slate. Michigan is picked to finish sixth in the preseason poll-- the league only predicts the top six teams. They include three players picked to the All-Big Ten preseason team in outfielder Jonathan Kim, true freshman starter Dylan Vigue and pitcher-first baseman Mitch Voit.
Michigan went 2-2 in the first week, losing a pair of 11-inning and 10-inning games to Western Michigan in a four-game series in Phoenix, Arizona. Michigan won't play at home until March 6 and in that stretch play at Globe Life Field and Dodger Stadium.
Here's what to know about Michigan's Kubota Baseball Series Weekend 2 slate.
Michigan Baseball Star Jonathan Kim Coming Off Big Weekend
Sophomore Jonathan Kim is the No. 85-ranked prospect in the 2025 MLB Draft. He was a third-team All-Big Ten selection as a freshman where he hist .323 with 10 doubles. He's considered one of the best center fielders in his class.
His slash line of .529/1.401/.765 to start the season was terrific and included five RBI, a home run, nine hits and a double.
