Best 2024 Freshman In College Baseball: Arkansas Baseball Has Loaded Class
Best 2024 Freshman In College Baseball: Arkansas Baseball Has Loaded Class
Cameron Johnson of LSU Baseball might be the best freshman, but Arkansas Baseball's 2023 class is considered the best. Here's a NCAA Baseball preview.
When the college baseball season begins on Feb. 16 across the country, there will be scores of new faces making their college baseball debuts.
The best freshman in the country, according to Perfect Game’s final player rankings list, is Cameron Johnson, a lefty pitcher who will start his college career with LSU. Johnson might have been taken higher in the 2023 draft than his 20th round selection by the Cardinals but he was a strong LSU commitment.
He ranked as the No. 11 overall prospect in his high school class and the No. 3 player from the state of Florida.
