How Did Nebraska Baseball Do In 2023?
The Cornhuskers rebounded from a disappointing 23-30 finish in 2022 by getting back on the right side of .500 in 2023 at 33-23-1.
Nebraska finished fourth in the Big Ten Conference, going 15-9 in the league, but the Cornhuskers did not receive a bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Nebraska lost in the Big Ten Tournament to conference champion Maryland.
Who Coaches Nebraska Baseball?
Will Bolt became Nebraska's baseball coach in 2020.
Bolt, a Cornhuskers second baseman from 1999 through 2002, worked as an assistant for his alma mater and Texas A&M, before taking over for Darin Erstad as head coach.
Bolt's first full season in 2021 produced a Big Ten Conference championship and berth in the NCAA Tournament.
Has Nebraska Ever Won The College World Series?
No, Nebraska baseball has never won the College World Series.
The Cornhuskers made their first appearance in the NCAA Tournament in 1979 and advanced to Omaha for the College World Series for the first time in 2001.
Nebraska made three College World Series runs from 2001 through 2005.

Gabe Swansen, OF
With Nebraska replacing a pair of 20-plus home run hitters from the 2023 roster, Gabe Swansen takes up the mantle as the Cornhuskers leading returning power hitter.
Swansen hit 18 home runs in 2023 and produced a .654 slugging percentage. He had a strong 11 games for the Willmar Stingers in the Northwoods Summer League, hitting .340 and driving in 14 runs in 47 at-bats.
Cole Evans, OF
Cole Evans is the only returning Cornhusker who hit north of .300 in 2023, delivering a .305 batting average in 141 at-bats a season ago. He boasted a .415 on-base percentage and caused some havoc with nine stolen bases.

Ryan Harrahill, RHP
Ryan Harrahill, a 6-foot-4 local prospect, headlines Nebraska's class of incoming freshmen.
Harrahill produced an ERA of a hair above 1.00 as a senior for Elkhorn High School in Omaha.
His size and powerful fastball could make him an immediate part of the Nebraska rotation.
Tyler Stone, INF
Junior college transfer Tyler Stone comes to Nebraska with Division I experience, having played at Gonzaga, before moving onto Iowa Western College.
At Iowa Western, Stone hit .360 and knocked out 15 home runs.
