Arkansas Baseball OF Jared Wegner Homers Vs. Oklahoma State
Arkansas Baseball outfielder Jared Wegner has raked at College Baseball Showdown and put Oklahoma State in a big hole on Sunday.
Arkansas senior Jared Wegner had himself a weekend in Arlington, Texas, at the College Baseball Showdown.
The Creighton transfer, who was first team All-BIG EAST in 2022, was a triple shy of the cycle on Saturday against TCU, and he didn’t take a rest on Sunday.
Wegner was halfway to the cycle after just three innings against Oklahoma State on Sunday. And it was the two most difficult ones he got.
Wegner hit a base-clearing triple earlier in the game and came back with a two-run home run in the third as Arkansas, which lost 18-6 on Saturday, built a 10-0 lead on the ranked Cowboys.
Wegner had driven in five runs in just first three innings of the game. They were his eighth RBI of the weekend thus far.

Arkansas Baseball Added A Talented Transfer In Jared Wegner
Arkansas reached the College World Series in 2022, but the Hogs had to rebuild the roster fort the 2023 season, and Wegner was a big part of that rebuild.
The 6-foot outfielder started 49 games in 2022 for Crieghton and hit .343 with 11 home runs and 53 RBI. Wegner had 63 hits including 14 doubles and three triples last season.
